My Journey towards being a Chartered Accountant

Hello! Nice to see you here!

This is my first ever blog post, so it may lack interest and bore you but I promise it would only get better.

So here we go!


Born in Manasa town in Madhya Pradesh State, India, I moved to Rampura, Madhya Pradesh, India for my Schooling and completed my 10th in the year 2006 from Mohammediyah Higher. Always among the top three ranks throughout my school life.

After my 10th, I moved to Mumbai for further studies, still not clear about my future plans. I easily got the admission to KPB Hinduja College of Commerce, Mumbai having scored nicely in 10th. Topped the college in FYJC (11th) and then in 2007 when I was in 12th, one of my friends suggested me to take up Chartered Accountancy course provided by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). I enrolled for the same and took up coaching at Kapasi Classes, Mumbai for the entrance exam CPT.

Having cleared CPT in June-2008, I started my articleship training in a Propreitorship firm Mahesh Gupta Asssociates, Mumbai. Though people say articleship is a hell, this was amongst the very few of those which is not quite a hell.

Even in terms of clearing CA exams I was rather lucky and I thank God for re-paying me immediately for my hard work.

After having a successful academic history, I got through the TCS Selection procedures at ICAI Campus placements - Indore.

Right now I am looking forward to TCS-ILP training programme to be conducted at Gandhinagar from 3rd October. Shall post the experience soon after it gets over.
